UKLTA expands executive board

The UK legal technology association (UKLTA) is pleased to introduce four new executive board members, bringing a wealth of skills and experience to help shape the future of the association.

UKLTA has appointed four new Executive Board members to reflect the expanding membership of the Association. The four new Board members are Andy Clarke from Rradar, Cathy Kirby from Baskerville Drummond, Simon Law from DC Law, and Dr Matthew Terrell from vLex. This brings the Executive Board membership total to seven members.

UKLTA Chair Matt Pennington said:

“We are delighted to welcome Andy, Cathy, Simon, and Matthew to the Executive Board. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be invaluable as we take UKLTA to the next level. I am grateful to them for stepping up to help us along our journey.”

Andy Clarke commented:

“I am looking forward to contributing to the future change and transformation of the delivery of value-added technology in the legal sector as part of the UKLTA Executive Board. Having worked in both the public and private sectors, I believe that I have a lot to offer in respect of change leadership.”

Cathy Kirby said:

“Having worked in legal IT for over 30 years, I understand many of the cultural challenges that go with legaltech adoption, and I believe that UKLTA is uniquely placed to help law firms embrace and release the power of technology in their practices.”

Simon Law said:

“With over 20 years’ experience in conveyancing, I understand the challenges that law firms face in choosing the technology that best suits their needs. UKLTA has a vital role to play in helping firms, and the highly relevant and informative events schedule is of particular value to law firms.”

Dr Matthew Terrel commented:

“I believe that UKLTA can help law firms access the ever-growing library of legal data and case history in an efficient and relevant way through the application of technology and artificial intelligence (AI), and I look forward to helping make that happen.”

Matt Pennington added:
