Today’s Family Lawyer expands support of charities and Ukraine

Today’s Family Lawyer is pleased to announce the creation of two new pages within the “About” section of the website in an effort to further expand its role in providing information to readers on relevant charities and the situation in Ukraine.

The first of the new pages, “Corporate Social Responsibility”, gives a platform to those charities supported by Today’s Family Lawyer. The page includes details of the charities and articles posted in relation to their cause, as well as links to fundraisers and further information. The charities currently included on the page are LawCare and the Access to Justice Foundation.

The second page is titled “Support Ukraine”. The aim is to act as a hub of information on how those within the UK legal sector can support lawyers and firms in Ukraine who are struggling in the face of the ongoing war with Russia. The page includes advice from the Law Society and the Bar Council, alongside information on the Ukraine Advice Project UK, the Ukraine Justice Alliance, and avenues for the secondment of Ukrainians into UK firms. The page will be updated as more information arrives, and insight from those within Ukrainian legal sector is set to be published over the coming days.

Today’s Family Lawyer welcomes the submission of information that may be of value to either of the new pages.
