Resolution, the campaigning body representing more than 6,500 family justice professionals, have said they are ‘delighted’ to announce the finalists for the Resolution Awards 2024.
The Resolution Awards encompass all areas of distinction throughout the family justice profession, and celebrates talent, innovation and success across the broadchurch of sectors that Resolution represents.
With eleven categories – including a new award, The Access to Justice Champion, celebrating members who have committed their expertise to give the most vulnerable individuals access to justice in family law – this year’s awards reflects the breadth of contributions Resolution members make, and the diversity of the community.
Grant Cameron, Chair, Resolution, says: “I would like to congratulate all of this year’s finalists for their outstanding contributions to the family justice sector. Our awards reflect the breadth of contributions our members make, and the diversity of our community. Every entry demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our Code of Practice. It was also pleasing to see just how many of you put Resolution and our Code front and centre of everything you do and how you work tirelessly to uphold and champion what we stand for.
“We must do more to recognise the achievements of individuals and organisations that promote the highest standards in our profession. The awards are our chance to do just that and to celebrate those who have gone above and beyond to make a difference to the family justice landscape.”
Joshua Rozenberg, a well-known legal commentator, will host the awards, which will be held at Church House, London, on Thursday 19 September. This year’s finalists were selected by an expert judging panel from across the sector, who deliberated on the many outstanding entries submitted. In addition to the nine judged categories listed below, Resolution’s award for outstanding achievement, the John Cornwell Award will be presented on the night.
