Boyes Turner’s family law team marks three years of growth

The family law team at Reading’s Boyes Turner is marking three years of continued growth with the appointment of Lizzie Dravnieks as Associate Solicitor.  Ms Dravnieks joins the team from a specialist family law firm in Hampshire and follows the appointment of Nicola Weeks as a Senior Associate Solicitor earlier in the year.

Launched by Head of Family Law, Paul Linsell, in 2021, Boyes Turner say ‘the team has rapidly developed a reputation for offering top quality advice combined with an empathetic and holistic service’. Working in all areas of family law, the team helps families by utilising a range of negotiation and dispute resolution processes, ‘in the changing landscape of family law, with a specific focus on mediation’.

Recent changes to the Family Procedure Rules (FPR) see a significant shift towards “non-court dispute resolution” (NCDR) and are expected to lead to an increase in demand for the services Boyes Turner offers, particularly mediation, the firm has predicted.

Mr Linsell comments: “I’ve always believed that you can “do divorce differently”. Throughout my career, I wanted to reimagine how things are done; to do things better by always putting children and the family you’re helping first. We welcome the new NCDR rules, and they align so much with Boyes Turner’s existing approach to family law. With the growing team, I’m looking forward to being able to help even more individuals and families.”

Barry Stanton, Managing Partner at Boyes Turner adds: “As a law firm, it’s easy to use words like “disruptive” but Paul’s always sought new, more progressive ways to work with families, to help them through very difficult life events. We’re delighted with what he and the team have achieved, as Boyes Turner becomes the go-to family team in the region”
