AIIC Group and National Legal Service (NLS) have announced a series of senior leadership changes to support growth plans.
AIIC, the legal group behind law firms Taylor Rose, FDR Law and Kingsley Wood, has announced several leadership changes to define clearer separation between group‑level leadership and the leadership of Taylor Rose.
Adrian Jaggard has stepped down as CEO of Taylor Rose to focus exclusively on his role as CEO of AIIC Group.
Antony Jaggard will take up the CEO role at Taylor Rose with the intention of reinforcing the firm’s focus on its own strategic direction, operational performance and continued expansion.
A new AIIC Group Services division will bring together key group‑wide operational and support functions including technology and infrastructure, under the leadership of new CEO Annemarie Pye. Pye has demonstrated strong leadership of numerous teams within Taylor Rose over many years, including most recently as COO.
The new structure will underpin a significant IT transformation programme currently taking place across the group, which it says will provide a more resilient, consistent and scalable platform for growth, while enabling operating businesses to focus fully on clients, people and performance.
Camille Bellchamber joins the statutory board at Taylor Rose in recognition of her knowledge, commitment and contribution to the business, and Lee Adams has been promoted to chief commercial officer.
Family and care law firm NLS is gearing up for expansion with a new chief executive appointment. Charles Metherell will become the first full-time CEO, joining the firm from Knights, where he was partner providing regulatory and advisory services to law firms.
Metherell said he sees his new role as one of freeing the firm’s lawyers to get on with their job by removing superfluous layers of management, streamlining processes and investing significantly in artificial or augmented intelligence to support them.
As part of a project engagement prior to his official appointment he has brought in Mindy Chall, a former colleague from his Cartwright King days, as NLS Head of Regions.
Metherell said he aims to expand NLS significantly with “an unwavering focus on efficiency, careful management and, where appropriate, bolt-ons of like-minded family and care lawyers, and other areas of synergy, adding further offices over the next three to five years and growing existing offices.”
