North west law firm Myerson Solicitors has appointed Richard Lloyd as chief executive, with current CEO Carl Newton becoming non-executive chair of the board. The appointments mark the next stage in the evolution of Manchester’s first 100% employee–owned law firm.
Lloyd (pictured above right) has taken up the new role after 26 years with Myerson, having led the firm’s Commercial Property team before becoming chief operating officer in 2019. He has worked alongside Newton for more than two decades, helping to shape Myerson’s strategy, drive operational excellence and support its transition to employee ownership.
Lloyd will lead the firm’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations, while Newton will oversee governance and safeguard the purpose and integrity of Myerson’s employee ownership trust.
Founded in 1982 and based in Altrincham, the firm employs around 165 people and generating annual revenues of more than £19 million. In 2024, it became Manchester’s first 100% employee-owned law firm.

Independent law firm Harrison Drury has appointed a new partner to strengthen its specialist family law team in the north west of England.
Terina Kiss will advise clients on complex family law matters, including high-net-worth financial remedy proceedings, private children disputes, domestic abuse litigation, cohabitation disputes and claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
She joins Harrison Drury from Knights, where she was partner, and has previously worked for Humberside Police in its legal services unit and covert authority bureau, advising on operational and strategic decision-making and providing specialist training on investigatory powers legislation.

RWK Goodman’s international family team has complemented a strong year of growth with further expansion of capability as it looks to solidify its position within the sector.
The team has worked on a range of precedent-setting High Court matters over the last 12 months alongside the expansion of its team within London, with associate Annie Leach (left
) the newest member of the growing team.
Leach joins from Bindmans, bringing more than half a decade of experience in international children matters including surrogacy and international child abduction cases. In 2025, she was highly commended in the Young Solicitor of the Year category of the LexisNexis Family Law Awards.
