Family Law Partners has expanded its Ascot-based family team with a new senior associate, while Newcastle firm Mincoffs has built its family capacity with the appointment of a new solicitor.
Georgia Meyer (pictured above) will assist Mincoff’s clients with divorce and financial settlements, and has experience in cases of varying complexity, including those involving high‑net‑worth individuals and intricate financial issues.
“Mincoffs has a great reputation for its family law expertise, so I was delighted when the opportunity arose to join such a highly regarded team,” said Meyer, who is also chair of the North East Junior Law Division.
“I was also drawn to the firm’s culture and its strong standing within the North East legal community.
“Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, and I’m very much looking forward to working closely with the team, the wider firm, and getting involved.”
Mincoffs said it plans further recruitment over the coming months to support its growth.
Paul Hughes, senior partner and head of corporate, said:
“Mincoffs has had an excellent year and we are in a position to expand a number of our teams as we look to the future of these departments.”

Bethan Campbell (pictured right) brings over 10 years’ experience to Family Law Practice, with particular strengths in advising on divorce, financial matters and disputes involved children.
As a trained collaborative lawyer, Campbell champions non-court dispute resolution, building on the firm’s commitment to offering non-court dispute resolution to its clients.
Amanda Phillips-Wylds, head of the firm’s Ascot office, said of Campbell’s appointment:
“We are thrilled to welcome Bethan to our Ascot team. Her expertise, client-centred approach and dedication to collaborative practice align perfectly with our values here at Family Law Partners. Bethan’s addition strengthens our capability to provide high-quality, empathetic legal support to clients facing some of the most challenging moments in their lives.”
