Jurisdictional case management guidance | March 2023

Jurisdictional case management guidance jointly launched by the Senior President of Tribunals and President of the Family Division

The Offices of the Senior President of Tribunals and the President of the Family Division have issued updated jurisdictional case management guidance in circumstances where related and concurrent asylum proceedings, and 1980 Hague Convention proceedings, are ongoing.

The guidance has been updated in light of the decision of the Supreme Court in G v G [2021] UKSC 9 (external link).

The Senior President’s guidance on abduction protection cases and the President’s Practice Guidance on case management and mediation of international child abduction proceedings can both be read below.
