Today’s Family Lawyer Sponsor Paralegal Award

We are delighted to announce that Today’s Family Lawyer publication are sponsoring the Family Law Category at the upcoming National Paralegal Awards 2020.

The deadline for nominations is fast approaching, and people are being urged to submit their entries before the cut off on Friday 13th December 2019 at 5pm.

Karen Babington, Director of the Practical Vision Network, which owns the Today’s Family Lawyer trade publication, said:

“As a source of news for the family law profession we are delighted to sponsor the Best Family Law Paralegal category at this year’s awards. Today’s Family Lawyer shall be in attendance to report on the winners announced on the evening. Paralegals play an important role in our legal system and provide an exceptional service both to clients and employers. If you have someone in mind who deserves to be nominated for an award, don’t delay and nominate today.”

The National Paralegal Awards are free to enter and focus solely on the work and achievements of Paralegals across a range of categories. These categories include:

  • Paralegal of the Year
  • Best Arbitration/Mediation Paralegal
  • Best Family Law Paralegal

Finalists will be announced in February 2020, following the judging panel’s deliberations.  The winners will be announced at the awards celebration which takes place on Friday 27th March 2020 in the iconic Grand Hall at the Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden, London.

Jennifer van Deursen

Jen is the Senior Media Officer for Today’s Conveyancer, Today’s Wills & Probate  and Today’s Family Lawyer.

Having gained a degree in Multimedia Computing, Jen fell into a content role after successfully applying for a job at Cheshire Police. During her 6-year service, she took on the role as personal Press Officer under the first Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire and worked in the busy press office for the force.

Jen has experience in the marketing and communication sphere, which stems from her time in the public sector, private care sector and now here at the Practical Vision Network, where she can utilise her skills and challenge herself further.
