St Albans and London firm SA Law’s Head of Family Law has been listed in The Legal 500 2025’s Hall of Fame.
Marilyn Bell, Partner, has become one of only nine family lawyers in the South East to make it into this, the uppermost tier, of the league table.
The Hall of Fame ‘recognises lawyers at the very top of the profession, widely known and respected by peers and clients for their longstanding involvement in market-leading work’.
These are part of The Legal 500 2025 rankings which help private clients and business leaders to identify the best lawyers based on comprehensive research, that is updated every year by The Legal 500 research team.
Ms Bell became a partner and SA Law’s Head of Family Law in 2005 when SA Law began. She specialises in family law which includes divorce and all the difficulties that arise because of relationship breakdown, including the resolution of complex financial disputes and all issues relating to children.
She is an accredited mediator both for adults and children, and a qualified collaborative lawyer. She is also accredited in Advanced Financial Provision and Advocacy Financial Provision.

SA Law’s Family department has also been ranked in the Top Tier for the 8th consecutive year, and Kiran Beeharry, Partner as well as Senior Associates Simran Gupta and Julie Cohen, have all been listed as recommended family lawyers.
Across the firm, 17 lawyers have been ranked or recommended in their fields in The Legal 500 2025 results, and a total of five departments are ranked in tier 1 or tier 2 in the South East league table.
