Resolution
Resolution is the largest membership organisation for family justice professionals in England and Wales, representing over 6,500 practitioners.
Resolution’s community is made up of family justice practitioners across the spectrum who commit to working in a non-confrontational way. Representing lawyers, legal executives, barristers, financial experts and family therapists, Resolution members lead the way in providing professional development and networking opportunities, cutting-edge resources and in lobbying government for a fairer family justice system.
Founded in 1982 by a group of family lawyers, they believed that a non-confrontational approach to family law issues would produce better outcomes for separating families and their children.
Over the decades, Resolution has maintained a commitment to a constructive way of working, enshrined in its Code of Practice, which members embed in their everyday practice.
