Two legal consultants are staging a three-day May retreat for law firm leaders in Ibiza’s Cala Carbo, which they promise will be a ‘unique and immersive getaway’.
The Lawyers Retreat is being staged by Kirsty Pappin, founder and director of Aries Legal Practice Management, and Kate Burt, founder and CEO of risk management consultancy HiveRisk, from Tuesday 13th to Friday 16th May.
The venue, in Cala Carbo on the west coast of Ibiza, offers views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Es Vedrà island, far from Ibiza’s party scene.
The retreat will include a combination of interactive workshops, peer discussions and expert-led sessions to encourage participants to switch focus from day-to-day operations to long-term business strategy. Guests will also learn practical business strategies and be guided through mental techniques to visualise success and adopt a mindset aligned with growth – all while relaxing in the sunshine..
‘The event offers a rare opportunity for attendees to step away from the daily grind to focus on strategy, scaling and success, with a strong focus on growth and personal transformation’, said Pappin and Burt. They added:
“It has been designed to provide a unique setting for business leaders to refine their vision, build valuable connections and gain fresh insights, all while benefiting from the restorative surroundings of Ibiza.”
The pair have partnered with entrepreneurial coaching consultants Strategic Coach and UK mental fitness expert Maya Raichoora, who ‘focus on empowering attendees to overcome leadership challenges, unlocking their full potential and driving success in both their personal and professional lives’.
The event will feature a range of industry-leading speakers covering topics including branding, digital scaling strategies, financial mastery, overcoming compliance, operational challenges and the importance of the workplace environment on talent retention and productivity.
Pappin said of the retreat:
“It’s a space where law firm leaders can reflect and recharge, stepping away from the usual daily grind. An example of this is demonstrated through our reflection breaks. They aren’t just quick half-hour pauses with no time to digest the information, they are extended three-hour breaks designed to give attendees space to truly reflect on what’s been taught.
“During these breaks, guests can choose from a variety of options: relax by the pool, engage in immersive activities by the sea, or even take a nap to recharge!”
Burt added:
“It was vital for the event to be inclusive, so it’s welcoming to our law firm delegates as well as our sponsors who have supported the event and who form a valuable part of the legal sector ecosystem. It’s a level playing field, everyone in attendance is a professional in their own right who is able to fully participate.
“We have carefully selected our partners and curated the agenda to ensure collaboration. Often, suppliers and delegates are segregated at legal conferences and we see the value that everyone has to bring. Our goal is to create a warm, bohemian-inspired atmosphere that nurtures both personal and professional growth.”
During their downtime, guests will enjoy a menu of freshly prepared food and a soundtrack of laid-back 90s Ibiza music.
