Hunters launches new “one couple, one lawyer” service

Hunters Law has announced the launch of its new “one couple, one lawyer” service.

The firm said it’s designed for separating couples “who wish to separate amicably and with dignity, whilst still benefitting from top-level legal advice”.

Launching the service known as “Resolve”, Senior Partner and Head of the Family department Henry Hood said:

“I know that many separating couples want a ‘good divorce’ – to find fair solutions using a respectful and dignified process, without sacrificing the benefits of bespoke legal advice. I’m thrilled that through Resolve Hunters is now able to meet this demand. Whilst it won’t suit everyone, and many going through divorce will still need individual advice, Resolve offers a flexible and creative solution for separating couples willing and able to work constructively together.”

Resolve is offered within the framework of “Resolution Together”, which reflects a growing interest among separating couples in avoiding the emotional toll of an acrimonious divorce – including for their children.

The introduction of no-fault divorce in April 2022 has likely encouraged this trend, whilst long delays and high financial costs are deterring many from court proceedings.

Resolve will be offered by Henry Hood, largely in high net worth divorces. The firm said:

“It will include a screening process to ensure Resolve is safe and suitable for the couple, and it will involve full financial disclosure, detailed legal advice, and facilitated discussions aimed at reaching solutions meeting the interests of the whole family. Once an agreement is reached, it will be enshrined in an agreed court order, providing certainty and finality.”
