FJG announces family law promotion

Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP (FJG), a East Anglian law firm, has announced the promotion of Joel Vika-Tyson to Associate Solicitor within the firm’s Family Law team, reflecting its commitment to developing talent and delivering exceptional legal support to individuals and families.

Based in the firm’s Colchester office, Joel has made significant contributions to the team and the wider community since qualifying as a solicitor in June 2022. With a strong foundation in family law, he provides tailored advice on a wide range of matters, guiding clients through sensitive and complex legal issues with professionalism and care.

In addition to his client work, Joel offers free legal advice in collaboration with the Anglia Ruskin Law Clinic and helps to run FJG’s family law drop-in clinic at its Chelmsford office every Wednesday morning. His dedication to supporting individuals in need underscores the firm’s ethos of accessible and sustainable legal representation.

Further cementing his expertise, Joel achieved Higher Rights of Audience in May 2024, a milestone that enables him to advocate for clients in the senior courts of England and Wales. Paula Fowler, CEO of Fisher Jones Greenwood, commented:

“Joel’s promotion to Associate Solicitor is a testament to his hard work, expertise, and unwavering commitment to client service. His contributions to both the firm and the wider community exemplify the values we uphold at FJG. We are proud to support his continued growth within the Family Law team.”
