Caroline Corby resigns from Cafcass Board

It has been reported on the Cafcass website that Caroline Corby has resigned from the Cafcass Board, having served since December 2014, most recently as Interim Deputy Chair since March 2020.

She is also Chair of the Cafcass Performance and Quality Committee and these roles will now be taken up by other experienced members of the Board.

Sally Cheshire, Interim Cafcass Chair said:

“I would like to thank Caroline for her service to the Cafcass Board and to the children and families we support, particularly given her most recent roles. I know our members and the Cafcass executive join me in wishing her all the best for her future endeavours.

The Ministry of Justice will now lead the arrangements to appoint new Board members.
