Joe joined JMW in January 2022, having previously trained at a boutique Manchester law firm, specialising in high net worth divorce. He subsequently qualified into this team in October 2021. Joe has experience in a wide range of Family Law matters including: Divorce and separation; Financial remedy upon divorce, both inside and outside the Court process; and Disputes and negotiation in respect of child arrangements upon divorce. Together with his legal knowledge, Joe is recognised for his client care, showing great empathy to clients and fostering a strong professional relationship with them. Joe is conscious that there is no one-size fits all approach to Family law, offering bespoke and pragmatic advice to each client’s requirements. Joe read Classics at the University of Liverpool, graduating with first-class honours. He then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law achieving a Commendation, before graduating from BPP University with a distinction in his Legal Practice Course in August 2021. When Joe is not working, he enjoys spending time with friends sampling Manchester’s fast-growing food and drink scene.
