The Association of Lawyers for Children (ALC) Annual Conference is taking place from 16th-18th November 2023 at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
We are delighted to announce that Lord Justice Baker is our Keynote speaker.
The programme includes talks on public law, private law and legal aid updates, and there are also a variety of workshops on important topics impacting both private and public law. There is also going to be a Panel Discussion on Transparency in the Family Court with Her Honour Judge Mererid Edward.
The Keynote will be given by Lord Justice Baker and there will also be a talk from Helen Adam about language in the family courts as well as a session by Reagan Persaud’s on good practice guidance on treating trans people in the family court.
The Legal Aid update is being presented by Jerry Bull of Atkins Hope and Samantha Little of Russell Cooke.
