4PB barrister picks up esteemed award at national ceremony

4PB’s Mani Basi was recently declared “Family Law Commentator of the Year” at the acclaimed LexisNexis Family Law Awards in London.

Basi, whose particular focus is on disputes relating to children and cases with an international element, has provided a range of insight and analysis on a whole host of issues across 2022.

This has resulted in Basi’s work being published in The Times as well as regularly being featured in industry publications, ultimately culminating in him picking up the award.

The select category won by Basi – which was sponsored by Today’s Family Lawyer – is one of only a handful decided by public vote, highlighting the appreciation for his work felt across the sector. Basi said:

“It was a real privilege being voted for Family Law Commentator of the Year at the LexisNexis Awards. Over the next 12 months, I hope to continue to publish articles on topical areas of family law, particularly in relation to international children law. I would like to express my thanks to Todays Family Lawyer in sponsoring the category & to 4PB for all the support.”

The 4PB barrister fought off tough competition from other finalists which included:
