Jennifer Carr has joined the private family team at Jackson Lees as senior associate, while Harrogate Family Law has welcomed senior family lawyer Charlotte Davies to its team.
Carr (main picture), who has more than 15 years’ experience as a solicitor across Merseyside and Cheshire, joins Jackson Lees from the Liverpool office of MSB Solicitors.
She focuses on all aspects of family law, with a focus on divorce cases, financial disputes arising from marital breakdown and private children proceedings. She has represented a range of high net worth clients, including TV personalities, lawyers, doctors and business owners.
“I’m passionate about family law and am committed to helping clients during what can be the most difficult time in their lives,” Carr said.

At Harrogate Family Law, Davies (pictured right) joins the firm with seven years’ post-qualification experience and an 11-year career at Clarion. She has a strong reputation for advising clients, including high net worth individuals, on divorce cases involving complex financial issues, with a focus on pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
Her appointment strengthens the firm’s senior expertise during a period of steady growth, which it says is responding to increasing demand for specialist family law advice. The firm now comprises a legal team of 15, with a total staff of 19 – the largest team of niche family law specialists in the Harrogate area.
